About Me

I’m Angelica Maize, founder and creative lead of Amaize Design LLC, a business born from a deep love of maps, design, and meaningful detail. Since 2020, I have been quietly building this company around the things that move me most: visual storytelling and the power of design to connect people to place. Recently, I took the leap to run Amaize Co full-time, driven by both passion and purpose.

As a mother to two young daughters, I have learned to live with intention and care. That same spirit guides every project I take on. I believe that design should be thoughtful, precise, and personal. For instance, my logo is a depiction of Camelback Mountain’s topography infused with the eye color and favorite hues of my daughters, hence making it both a tribute to place and a celebration of family. Every choice is deliberate. Every detail matters.
